Hello beautiful people,

I am living in Germany and tried to get in touch with Caledonian Sleeper staff in order to reserve a seat (since the website says if it is only for a seat, please contact the customers care centre).

Now, the telephone numbers do not work for me, I tried landline phones, my mobile and an app. I did call other numbers in England and Scotland for my travel arrangements with no problems whatsoever, so obviously, the issue is on the receiving side.

I was in email contact with one of their agents (“Ambassadors”), who was perfectly polite, but I never heard/read of him again after letting him know that I only wanted a seat reservation.
I found that https://www.acprail.com/ does (theoretically free) reservations for a charge, I tried that and they emailed me a .pdf titled “Your Passholder Reservation” and giving place/ date/ time of departure and arrival, they do give me a car and seat number, but no mention of carrier, train number etc.

Now I wonder, is that it? Will this .pdf plus my InterRail Pass do the trick and get and keep me on the train in a seat? Fully legitly? Or is there a catch?

This leg of my trip is the make-or-break part of it...

Thank you very much indeed for (positive answers ;o)

Luu
