Can I make a reservation on Eurostar before I buy my pass?

We are planning a trip next year from 28 June to 12 July.  We are holding off buying the pass to see if there is an Autumn/Black Friday offer.  We can now book the Eurostar for our dates.  Is it possible to make a booking before we buy the pass?

It is not possible to book so far in advance for passholders. Check https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish but I think the deadline is about 6 months in advance.

There's no need to book so far in advance anyway, 2 months is plenty enough :)

In any case the best ticket prices are about 3-4 months in advance.

I still have this question. I am planning to take the Eurostar in less than 6 months, but I am wondering if I need to actually buy the pass first, and once I do, I certainly don’t want to activate it months in advance, just to make a reservation.

You need to have a pass number to make the reservation, but you don't need to activate the pass.
