Hello

We would like to go from Italy to Greece by ferry, but we don’t know what is included in our interrailpas. Do we still have to reserve places on the boat or not?

Thank you!

It depends on which ferry you take. Did you check the ferry page?

https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/trains-europe/ferries

Most ferries offer a discount only, but that also means you don't need to use a travel day.

The Superfast/ANEK ferries are included (and you do need a travel day):

https://www.superfast.com/en-gb/special-offers/sail-rail

You still need to pay port tax, fuel charge, high season charge (if applicable) and any accommodation (if you want that).

There are several ferry companies from eastern Italy to the former Yugoslavia and Greece. I think the ones to Greece run out of Bari or Brindisi.

The rail pass is of little value - maybe a 10% discount on part of the fare and the need to call their customer service.

Google it but these might help
