Hi friends! I’m taking the 12:22 pm train from Ax-Les-thermes to Narbonne today and noticed when I checked train line and SNCF app that the stop for Narbonne is terminated.

  1. When this happens, is my only other alternative to take the next connection and hang around Toulouse longer (or leave ax on the second train out?) I’ve got large suitcases and prefer not to arrive too late.
  2. What app do you recommend for checking live train times since the eurail planner isn’t up to date ?

thanks friends! It’s been three years since I used eurail again and I’m trying to remember how to navigate!

I bought the first class eurail pass for France only if that’s important.

It means that the train stops earlier than normal (because of works probably) in Narbonne and doesn’t continue to Perpignan (or onward) like it normally does.

But since you have to be in Narbonne there’s no issue? You still get where you need to be with any train today. Or do you need to get to Perpignan or somewhere else?

Always trust the local planners (sncf app, or SNCF TER Occitanie. The Rail Planner App and especially trainline are not good to check for real time information, avoid it. Just use it to log your journeys and add them to the pass).

I don’t see any cancelled trains though. It seems the 12:22 is running, one hour change in Toulouse to Narbonne Slightly altered timetable maybe, because of works (there are always many around easter).

With trains without reservation, yeah. Just hop on the next available train - or even the one after that, to avoid crowding.

Hi @BrendanDB  thanks for the quick reply!

so it looks like the train is partially terminated so you can still buy tickets but when I open the journey details this is what I see. Would my best bet be to just wait for the next one rather than chance it?

also wondering if there’s any way to see past timetables on the sncf app! I clicked save time table but now I can’t pull it up again

Oops I think I accidentally marked this resolved and sent a new post or something and it’s pending. Sorry! I’m relearning this system

this is what I see when I open the journey details - is my best bet to just take the next train rather than chance it? This leg is still available for purchase @BrendanDB

thank you for the quick reply! You are always so helpful and saved me a bunch of times three years ago 🤣

also, is there anyway for me to view timetables if the time has already passed? I saved my current trip that I’m on in the SNCF app, but I can’t pull it up again

@BrendanDB i attached the journey cancelled segment. It keeps showing up as an option to purchase.

would you recommend I take a later train instead of chancing it?

thank you!
