Change reservation

I have a reservation from Lyon Part Dieu to Gare du Nord. However, I have discovered that the train I'm booked on starts at Lyon Perrache, which is near my hotel. Can I amend the reservation free if charge so that it starts at Lyon Perrache, or should I just buy a ticket for the journey between the the 2 stations - it's only a small amount.

I wouldn't bother with changing anything. Theoretically, you should indeed change the reservation, but I'd just board in Perrache. You don't need another ticket, since the pass is your ticket.

Do you really have a ticket to Paris Gare du Nord? Usually TGVs end at Paris Gare de Lyon and you have to take the Metro/RER. Check your reservation if you have a connection in Paris. If you have a TGV reservation, it may be impossible to board at Lyon-Perrache if a check is made at the entrance of the platform. In this case, you can try dealing with the staff, but I would leave earlier and take a TER to Lyon-Perrache. Or you can cancel the reservation a buy a new one, you will only lose the booking fee.

My reservation is for the 11:04am train from Lyon Part-Dieu to Paris Gare de Lyon. However the train (TGV INOUI 6614) starts from Lyon-Perrache at 10:50am. I think I will just arrive early and see if I can board using the reservation I have. If that's not possible, I will just buy a ticket from Lyon-Perrache to Lyon Part-Dieu. Thanks for your help 👍
