In planning our upcoming trip through Europe, we booked Eurail seat reservations for our intended routes. I know those seat reservations are non-refundable. Now we want to change routes. Can we change those seat reservations without losing money?

There is no general answer. Some seat reservations can be refunded and exchanged, others can only be exchanged and again others can’t be refunded or exchanged. It all depends on where you booked your reservations and for which exact trains (route, date, departure time).
