In general, the DB Navigator app will give you this information. And I'd also expect announcements on the train and at the station.

There are direct trains from Munich to Zürich, but it should be not a problem to do it with changes. 

As for now and short time to come there is indeed a chnage-as the multi-country trains seem to have some probs and are too few in nr.

It is always very well regulated in Germany=DE and Swiss=CH-there are screens in trains that show connections, any platform always also has screens showing next train and there will be announcement-probably even in bad english-about how+when. Or as the english say: just follow the crrowd-you will not be the only one. Lah!
