Charles de Gaulle to Bayeux

We are arriving at de Gaulle airport, and want to go directly to Bayeux. Trying to figure out the quickest/most effective way to do so. It seems we need to go through the St Lazare station, and the best way between there and the airport is the RER train. However, not sure what passes we need, or if we need to purchase passes in advance at all.
Thank you!

Where else will you be travelling? If it’s just to Bayeux, you’re likely to be better off buying ordinary tickets, instead of a pass.

You’re right, you need to take the RER (commuter train, not included in rail pass) into Paris and then to Gare St Lazare. Then a train from there to Bayeux.

You can see prices and times on Trainline.com. The maximum price from Paris is €55 each way, cheaper in advance.

Thank you Ralderton. We will be traveling around the Normandie area for a few days, but will rent a car for that. Then back to Paris , where we can use local trains & buses. I will check out Trainline. Appreciate the tips!

Just search from Paris-Bayeux. Don’t try CDG Airport-Bayeux, as Trainline won’t find the RER trains. You can buy the RER ticket locally.
