I’m confused as i want to take the train from bratislava to zilna and then further to kosice but on the timetable it says i need a reservation meanwhile if i look at train types on the interail app it says the trains i would be taking don’t need seat reservation only with 1st class and that besides that they are optional and on the interail site it says too the trains are reservation optional (picture below) so just to be sure i thought i ask to be sure if the timetable isn’t wrong or such
+7Seems like some trains (EX 525 for example) have mandatory reservation in all wagons. You can buy reservations for 1€ directly from the slovakian railway. https://www.zssk.sk/
You can also check the timetable there.
+7But it is not all of the trains like marked in the railplanner app. ( many of the other trains have some wagons with mandatory reservation, but not all of the wagons)

look up your connection on the website of the slovakian railway.
+7If you select a train it say it in the first line under it (you need to use translation)
But at 1€ the reservation is also pretty cheap. (if you already know which train you will be taking )
