I would like to take the train from Belgrade to Bar this month. According to the Rail Planner, there is a day train departing from Beograd Centar at 09:45 and arriving in Bar at 21:10.
My plan is to spend one night in Bar and take the return train at 09:00 the next morning, which is scheduled to arrive in Beograd Centar at 20:17.
However, I'm a bit confused because I read in some articles that only the night train is operating. These articles are a bit outdated, so I'm not sure if that’s still the case.
So my first question is: Is the day train currently running this month?
Another point of confusion is that some sources mention the train does not depart from Beograd Centar, but from a different station in Belgrade. Could you please clarify whether the train actually departs from Beograd Centar, as shown in the Rail Planner?
And finally, I’ve read that this train route is often heavily delayed. Given this, do you think my plan — taking the day train to Bar, spending one night there, and returning the next morning — is realistic or too risky due to potential delays?
