Question for you all. I am traveling from Copenhagen to Stockholm. Unfortunately the SJ is sold out so I have to change in Malmö. The change only gives me 18 minutes to get from one train to another. Is that enough time in the Malmö train station taking into account any border crossing logistics such as customs, ID checking, etc…

It should be enough time.
There are several trains an hour Copenhagen - Malmö, unless there is some other time constraint you could just take an earlier one.
