Hi ice train destination curtailed and will terminate at Köln instead of Frankfurt is the reservation still valid to take that train to Köln?
the DB portal only states that connection is no longer available and is not clear if the paid for reservation to Frankfurt is valid for the Brussels to Köln journey.
Most likely still valid yes. You can check on the DB seat map if your seat is blocked.
If the train still has the same train number your reservation remains valid.
If your train has a new train number your seat reservation may be replaced and you will get a notification one hour before the train does leave at it’s origin station if you did provide your Email. If you did buy them with DB app you do get a push up message, too.
