Deadline for the first reservation
If you choose to travel on trains without mandatory reservation you don’t need to make reservations at all.
In the summer though, it can be good to make reservations even if it isn't necessary. It all depends on when and where you will be travelling.
If you give your travel details (departure date, time and route) here you will get advice if reservation is needed/recommended and also what the best way to make reservations is.
Untill you think its wise to do, OR-sometimes (as the common fault is that people are waaaaaaaaay too early) when REServ open for that country/traintype.
