Does anybody know when timetables will be passed on from railways to Rail Planner? Trying to book on Deutsche Bahn (Germany) and SNCF (France) but getting an error message saying Rail Planner is still waiting for a timetable update from the railways. However SNCF opened for bookings over a week ago and Deusche Bahn opened today so one would think data would be available.
Thanks!
DB trains can b booked at bahn.com - seat only.
SNCF can be booked at b-europe https://travel.b-europe.com/eurail-ge/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish
Comprehensive list of alternative sources of reservations:
Actually it works he other way: as such the data are here-since a day or 2-as these are uploaded into a central EUR timetable-keeping system MERITS-but as has so untold many times been explained here: on the site of the passes it always takes quite a while to have them uploaded.
Except for the odd special days around Xmas all this nervosity is hardly worthwhile-you do not scramble for the very few supercheap savings prices.
Hi everyone, thank you for your helpful answers! An other trick is to open https://www.interrail.eu/en/book-reservations#/ on a browser instead of using the app. Routes are shown here already but are still not desplayed on the app. And yes, don’t wait too long before booking, it seems seat tickets with Deutsche Bahn do disappear very quickly...
OOI I must admit I rarely use the App based planner as my laptop has a screen I can see, and the Browser “Find Train Times” is far and away the easiest first stop for route planning.
