Hi all, We are travelling from Milan to Lyon on 21st September and were planning on travelling via Trenitalia’s FR9296 Frecciarossa train using our Global Pass. I have tried to book via the Eurasia website and have received the following message:
PASS NOT VALID
YOU NEED TO BUY A FULL FARE TICKET TO BOARD
Can anyone confirm that the Global Pass does not work on this trail.

View originalNo. The Trenitalia Milan - Paris are not included. The SNCF TGV on that route are valid but do not stop in Lyon.
Expensive reservation required with international TGV of course.
You need to take the TGV as advised. It leaves from Milano Porta Garibaldi station.
- TGV Milano Porta Garibaldi - Chambéry-Challes-les-Eaux 14:10 - 18:15
- TER Chambéry - Lyon Part-Dieu 18:44 - 20:10
(same connection 2 hours later)
Or the morning connection :
- TGV Milano Porta Garibaldi - Chambéry 06:00 - 10:15
- TER Chambéry - Lyon Part-Dieu 11:33 - 13:02
