Question

Error "One or more Passes don't cover this journey. Select the travellers with valid Passes for this journey to book seats." Trip has been entered, places are still available, can book via other websites. What is the issue? (Paper Pass.)

Dear InterRail,

I have an InterRail paper pass, and I added a trip on interrail.com with that pass and the correct pass cover number.

I want to book a night train from Paris-Austerlitz to Tarbes.

I selected the trip with the corresponding pass.

When I want to book via https://interrail.com/, it just says “One or more Passes don't cover this journey. Select the travellers with valid Passes for this journey to book seats.”

I double checked, I have selected myself and the correct trip. The pass is a global pass, and the booking I want to make is in the middle of the passes validity.

Places on the train are available since I can book via https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass or https://raileurope.com/.

SAME for the earlier day train (TGV). Seems to be a general issue.

What is going on here?

Dear InterRail team, can you please look into it behind the scenes?

Regards!

Just book elsewhere, e.g. allaboard.eu or raileurope.com. The Interrail website is rarely the best place to book.

As to the warning you were seeing:

If you have a global pass, then check whether the start date of the validity period was entered correctly.
