Expensive combination of Eurostar, TGV and ICE covered by Intrrrail Pass?

Hello

I am new to Interrail and have never used it before so please bear with my lack of knowledge 😅.

In a few months i would like to travel from Germany to London (using ICE then Eurostar) and then back from London through France to Offenburg (using Eurostar then TGV), now the second route is exceptionally expensive and last search showed a price of 300 Euros per person! And the whole journey to and back from London is somewhere around 500 Euros for one person

My question is: can one be sure that Interrail really covers such routes with expensive tickets without problems?

Thanks

When is your travel date, and what's your route (which exact trains you plan to take)?

The main bottleneck are the Eurostar reservation, who have limited pass holder seats. The rest is doable with interrail.

Check eurostar availability here (and book it asap)

To book, you need a pass cover number:

For the return you can go to Strasbourg, and take regional trains across the border. It'll be cheaper reservation wise!
