first class Global Pass reservation

Hello everybody,

I am new in the community and first time in Interrail. I got the first class Global Pass, but in my reservation for 20 december I have to pay 8 Euros from München to Zürich. But I have seen, if I have the second class Global Pass I have to pay also 8 Euros. So, there is no difference. is this normal ?

and If I do not reserve a seat, may I take a seat in the first class and the meals, or shoud I reserve ?

soy nuevo en la comunidad y primera vez en Interrail. Compré el first class Global Pass, pero en mi reservacion para el 20 de diciembre tengo que pagar 8 Euros de München a Zürich. Pero he visto, si yo tengo el secon class Global Pass tengo que pagar tambien 8 Euros, asi que no hay diferencia, es esto normal ?

y si yo no hago la reserva, puedo sentarme en first class y tomar la comida o debo de reservar.

Reservations are optional on those trains. 20/12 however is the beginning of the holidays for many people, so it can be busy. If you don't have a reservation, you can sit in any free seat in 1st or 2nd class, since you have a 1st class pass. Meals are not included in the price on this train, but you can pay to have a meal.

Reservations are best not booked via Interrail. You can book a reservation for €3 on tickets.oebb.at. It is normal that reservations have the same price in 1st and 2nd class.
