First time user looking for advice re seat reservations in Spain.

Hi. Did a search but couldn’t find an answer. Just bought 1st Interrail pass and planning trip from UK to France & Spain. Made seat reservations online OK for initial UK / France part of holiday. However, can’t make seat reservations online for Spanish part of holiday. We are travelling to 7 Spanish cities and booking accommodation so need to be sure we can reserve train seats / tickets. Can we do this in advance in the UK before we leave or only when we arrive in Spain which seems a bit risky as we will have already booked accommodation? Please advise the best way to do this. many thanks in advance.

Renfe are a royal pain in the lower backside for pass reservations.

Domestic reservations can be made online for some trains, although only via Interrail, which means you pay an extra booking booking fee. There are also a few other ways to book Spanish domestic trains, see this list here:
