Global Plus Pass - Reserving Seats to travel together

Hello all,

With the new beta Global Plus Pass, if I and a friend were to get those, I understand that we would need to book reservations through the Interrail system to get the reservations that are included in the price.

However, as you cannot choose seats while booking the reservations on this system, is there another way to reserve seats that are next to each other? (the passes would be on different accounts and phones)

Or would it be simpler to just get a normal pass (especially while they are discounted) and reserve seats through RailEurope or directly through operator websites such as Eurostar and Ceske Drahy?

Thank you for your time!

Joe

You should be able to book for both of you in one go:

You'll have to do the maths to see what's cheaper.
