Where can I find a list of guaranteed Italian trains on June 20th? I understand there's a Nationwide strike but some trains are guaranteed to run. I am specifically looking for Fr9628 from Rome to Milan at 1120 am and Ec18 from Milan to zurich at 1510 on June 20. I also bought seat reservations through Rail Europe on those routes, so would there be any possibility of getting my seat reservation money back if those trains do not run and if so is that through rail Europe or the Italy train company? Thanks

You can definitely get a refund for reservations if the train is cancelled. It would be from the place you purchased then, but Eurail can help chase it up if you have any problems with Rail Europe.

Strike information on the Trenitalia website https://www.trenitalia.com/it/informazioni/Infomobilita/notizie-infomobilita.html

So if our trains are not on that list, they are cancelled?

Not necessarily.

Those are the guaranteed trains. Others may run, depending on how many workers turn up for the strike I guess.

9628 is not on the guaranteed list, so I would try to charge to an earlier train out of Rome if you want to be sure.

The 1510 Eurocity looks like it's guaranteed

So is there any way to actually find out ahead of time without waiting until that day?

No. That's kinda the whole point of a strike!

Trenitalia publish the guaranteed trains, so you can plan based on that. Any other trains that run are a bonus.

Is 35 minutes at Milano centrale the day before a strike June 19 enough transfer time?
