I am traveling Rome-NL today. From Milano to Lugano I take the 12.43 RE 25518. I didn't book seats because when I researched this trip no seat reservation was required. And now it shows up that I should book them. Tried ÖBB and Bahn.de but they will not let me book them...I have 20 mins of transfer time in Milano. When I cannot get on that train it will be a disaster for my trip. Help me out please...!!

There is a highly misleading bug on Rail Planner at the moment, showing reservation-free trains as reservation-required.
This regional train does not have seat reservations. Go to tje front, hop on and you'll have plenty of seats to choose from.
