Pls advise:
- Is there any direct train from Milan to Zurich? How long it takes to reach there?
- Is there any direct train from Zurich to Lyon? Hoe long it takes to reach there?
- Do we need to make reservations for this trips? Thanks
Pls advise:
For international schedules, a good choice is to check the Deutsche Bahn planner.
Reservations are needed for high-speed trains in Italy and France. But there are also reservation-free alternatives that take a bit longer. If you say when you'd like to travel, people can suggest reservation-free options.
If these are the only 2 journeys you'll be making, then a pass is probably not worth it and it;s more economical to buy normal tickets.
@1, yes, a few, many more trips with changes possible @2-no @3 depends on what trains you use
Use bahn. de and it will show for all trains presented what is needed and what those trains offer
It however canNOT sell these tickets as such, it will only do tickets In and to/fro DE=Germany. You better use for ticket booking the railways concerned-in this case sbb.com (swiss) can do, but is not cheap, lah!
If you would want to tour more of Swiss in between, then Swiss tourist passes might be useful. Then you only pay tickets to/from border.
