how are seat reservations checked in ICE from germany to paris?

Hello, 

i have a reservation in the ICE from Frankfurt to Paris Est. Nevertheless I cannot enter that train in Frankfurt since my commuting train changed its plan and doesn’t stop in Frankfurt anymore. 
Next option is for me to enter the same train in Mannheim. Now I have the question how my seat reservation will be controlled and whether it’s still valid then? I am a bit unsure since it’s a mandatory thing to go to France and all other seat reservations are booked out

Kontrolliert wird durch den Schaffner im Zug. 

Eine Sitzreservierung verfällt nach 15 Minuten. 

Allerdings kann den Platz ja grenzüberschreitend niemand anderes buchen. Allerdings könnte jemand ohne Reservierung, der bis Saarbrücken/ Karlsruhe (je nachdem, welche Strecke du nimmst) fährt, in Mannheim auf deinem Platz sitzen (insbesondere wenn der Zug voll ist).

Das Problem mit der Brückensperrung in Frankfurt ist ja allgemein bekannt, wegen einem späteren Einstieg wird da keiner was sagen (wenn er überhaupt bemerkt wird). 

Fazit: Mitfahren ist kein Problem, aber der Platz könnte mit Pech (teilweise) weg sein.
