How do I know what seat I have If I get My Seat Reservations on OBB Website

Hello Everyone,

I’m wanting to make my seat reservations with OBB for tickets from Rome to Venice, Venice to Milian, Zurich to Paris, when I put this in and select 2nd class it does not show any seat options. So, when will it show me my seat options, and will it come to a point to where I can change them if my husband and I are not seated together?

Thanks in advance for anyone’s help

Hello @KandCEuropeVac

If you want to select seats on a map for Italy, you can make reservations on raileurope.com, but it costs 2 € more. Otherwise, the system will try to assign you contiguous seats if available.

Note that Zurich to Paris isn’t available through ÖBB. But raileurope.com works for this train too.

So with ÖBB it will not show me a seat number if I buy through them?

@KandCEuropeVac

Through ÖBB you don’t see your seat numbers in advance when you reserve for Italy, only after paying. It is no more possible to change them.

Ok, got ya! So I’m stuck with what ever seats they give. Could I change them at the station for different seats if available? Thank you for the info!

I doubt it. That should be possible though if you book on www.raileurope.com. And as already mentioned, you can choose your seat there for an extra €2.
