hi how can i confirm my seat on the interrail with my train ticket

Seat reservations are a separate process. You can make them on interrail.eu (extra fees) or through the railway companies themselves. Have a look at https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm

You'll receive a PDF which you show to staff along with the correct journey logged on Rail Planner (your ticket).
