Hey everyone,
I‘d like to book a seat on the TGV from Narbonne to Lyon (I have a 1 month global pass). A friend of mine has booked a regular ticket without an Interrail ticket for that train and told me her seat number. Does anybody know if I can select a certain seat so we can sit together? I’ve already tried but all I could select was if I want to have a window or aisle seat.

The best way to make reservations for French trains is to call SNCF. No need of Pass Cover Number. Hopefully they can give you a seat next to your friend.

The best is to call SNCF: press #85 for English, no booking fee, reservation is sent via e-mail.
They should be able to place you next to each other if you provide coach and seat number of your friend (you need both).
