When I get to the part of paying for reserved seats from Basel to Lauterbrunnen or Bern to Geneva it says it can not. It says “Sorry, something went wrongWe could not save your details. Please try again or contact Customer Service if this issue continues.”. I do not know where to go for help. Is there a person I can talk to?

There's no need to make seat reservations on that route. No one makes seat reservations in Switzerland except for the Glacierexpress and the panoramic cars in the Berninaexpress.
Reservations for domestic trains in Zwitserland are generally a waste of money. Except maybe for the Bernina line and from Zurich to Lugano on very busy days.
