I made a reservation from Paris Nord to Cologne. I know I need a reservation, however I get the "!" Symbol, and it tells me an error when calculating the cost, so I can't book. What happens in that situation?

I presume you tried to make this reservation on the Eurail website. Unfortunately, there are often problems there. However, I do see prices on the website for a trip in November. For which date are you looking?
If you're currently in France or Belgium, the best is to go to a ticket office that can do international reservations.
Online, you can also use:
- ACP Rail (1 + 2.40 = 3.40 EUR booking fee per seat)
- Belgian railways (4 EUR booking fee per order)
