from today RailEurope will sell Interrail reservations for trains like Italy (incl. seat selection via seat map) or international train Germany-France or TGV to Spain and other countries.

This is a very interesting development. With seat choice too! 
Will be interesting to see how prices and ease of use turn out.
I haven't seen any booking fee yet for pass reservation. They do have that for regular tickets: €7.45 per order I believe.
