I’ve bought seat reservations from OBB for travel within Italy (Verona to Milan and Milan to Turin). Is it necessary to print the PDF tickets? Or can I just show them on my phone? If anyone has recent experience of this, I’d be grateful for your advice. It would be much easier if I don’t have to print them, but the instructions from OBB clearly say they have to be printed! Thanks.

You could try to load the tickets in the Trenitalia app with the PNR and your e-mail address, but I don’t know if it works with ÖBB-tickets.

If it works, you can also manage the tickets, for example chose another train if you arrive late in Milan.

You don't need to print them Trenitalia ticket inspectors are totally fine with showing reservations on a screen.

Update: It was all fine, no need to print OBB tickets in Italy, as all the Trenitalia inspectors were happy to check the reservations on my phone.
