I’ll be travelling this August (Sunday 31st) from Aumale to Paris and then onto Gloucestershire via London.

Ideally I don’t want to get into London too late as I know Sunday timetables often get delayed etc on the line from London to Stroud.

Do you think this (below) is enough time?

I can’t leave Aumale before midday: I’m toying with getting a taxi from Aumale to Beauvais then the train from there to Paris (I have to get a taxi from my accommodation to Aumale train station anyway).

There only seem to be trains from Beauvais to Paris every two hours - do they increase the frequency in the summer by any chance?

SUNDAY 31st AUGUST

Aumale depart: 13:14

Beauvais arrive: 14:12

Beauvais dep: 14:40

Paris arr: 15:57

Paris dep: 17:02

London arr: 18:30

London dep: 19:30

Stroud arr: 20:59

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it’s enough time. You have plenty of time between each train to allow for delays.

However, this is 4 trains. And there's always a chance that one gets cancelled. That shouldn’t be a problem, because you can do the same itinerary two hours later if necessary.

I would happily book that itinerary. You can always check on the morning of departure for any delays to the TER, and get your taxi to Beauvais.

Thank you.

And to check, if I got the 14:40 from Beauvais this arrives into Paris just over an hour before my eurostar departs - is this enough time?

If the Aumale to Paris leg (two trains) was delayed and meant I was too late to get my Eurostar would I automatically get put on the next train out? (It will be two people, myself and my teenaged daughter).

Thanks again!

That's enough time. The best time to join the queue for check-in is between 45 and 60 minutes before departure. Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure.

Yes, Eurostar will rebook you free of charge on the next available train.
