Issue Booking Paris to Milan Train with Interrail Pass

I recently purchased an Interrail pass for Italy as a French resident. I am trying to book a direct train ticket from Paris to Milan for August 18th, departing at 9:46 AM, using this pass. However, I am encountering an error message in French that states: "Un ou plusieurs Pass ne couvrent pas ce trajet. Sélectionnez les voyageurs qui disposent d’un Pass valable sur ce trajet pour pouvoir réserver."

Could you please help me understand why my Interrail pass is not being accepted for this route and how I can resolve this issue?

Thank you for your assistance.

One-country passes are only valid in the selected country. The journey from/to your country of residence is not included.

(With a Global Pass you may travel on 2 pass days in your country of residence.)
