I have some issues with booking a ticket from london to Edinburgh on the 24th of june. Is it because those tickets simply aren't available yet? Also why can't you get the reservation on the interrail site, do you have to do it on another site? And if that's the case how do i select that i already bought an interrail and only need a seat reservation. Hope somebody can awnser me with this since im very new to this and could use some help.

You can (almost) only get reservations for British trains from UK source because the RDG decided a few years it was not necessary anymore to be connected to any other reservation systems.
24 June is too far in advance. LNER say "Tickets not yet on sale” if you do a search for that date. GWR just don't give any results.

Thank you for the questions and replies from the community.
I bought a 5 Day EuroRail Pass for four adults. My 2024 planned trip as follows:
Day 1 9th May Edinburgh to London
Day 2 11th May London - Brussels
Day 3 17th May Paris - Lyon
Day 4 19th May Lyon - Lausanne
Day 5 25th May Zurich to Milan
Already confused about configuring all four travellers into the Mobile App, will figure a way out as I still have time.
Is it too early to book or reserve seats from Edinburgh to London ? I tried but the App says “NO matches”
Please provide some tips on how to go about this.

It is too early for most reservations for May 2024.
The only one on your list that would be worth booking far in advance would be London Paris.

+8It's too early. Most UK trains go on sale about three months ahead. You will be able to make Edinburgh-London reservations here, for free.

Don't do it through Eurail, they'll charge you €6 for the exact same reservation!
Reservations in the UK are optional but advised. LNER run regular services LON - EDI and you can get reservations online for free at the link above. OOI it issues random seats but you can go on the site and change to seats of your choice and you get a new e-mail instantly.
