Just ordered passes and paid for them

I have ordered a Eurail Global Pass for 2 months/15 days flexi use. I am getting a printed version of the pass (not mobile), because I often tend to lose or break my phone while on trips. I prefer to keep the physical passes with me, not use the app.

My main question is, do I have to wait until I receive the passes in the mail to book seat reservations on trains? Is it true that to book seats using a Eurail Pass, we must input the Eurail Pass number somewhere in the seat reservation?

What is the best website to book seat reservations using an Eurail Pass?

Your answers, much appreciated.

You can find a reservations guide here:

https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm

You must sometimes input the pass number (e.g. A1B2C3), it depends on the site, but I don’t know if you already received it or not.
