Question

Madrid connection

Hello everyone, I’d like to ask for some advice because I’m taking a train to Madrid this morning, and it’s going to be half an hour late. The problem is that I was supposed to catch a connecting train to Seville afterward, and I’ll only have 15 minutes to make the connection at Madrid Atocha. Do you think that’s feasible?

Thanks 🙏

Are those both trains operated by Renfe? Assuming you're arriving into Puerta de Atocha from another high speed service, speak to staff on the platform. Maybe even check with the train staff now already. They accompany people to short connections.

If you follow the normal route from the arrivals terminal to the departures terminal, it is doable in 15 minutes if you walk fast but tight.

For such questions, it's essential to mention your planned trains. Without details, only general advice is possible. With details, alternatives can be advised, and/or people can check train status etc.
