Travelling Milan to Tirano to board Bernina - I understand buses run from Colico to Tirano (due to maintenance works).
Does that mean I can use Eurail pass on the bus as well and I do not have to purchase tickets for the bus?
Do buses allow luggage? We have 2 big suitcases which we have to carry all the way to Lucerne :)

Yes rail replacement buses are fully included in Eurail.
Don't worry, you won't be the only one travelling with luggage. There should be holds under or at rear of the bus :)
