(Night) trains in France - reservation. Only need a reservation, not a full ticket?

So to be 100% clear about this, you can take all the trains that are listed on the interrail website (in France) even the TGV or the night train, but you only need a seat reservation? not a full ticket? Furthermore, I cant seem to find where i only can buy a seat reservation on the sncf website for the night trains vom Paris to Nice?? Where should i buy the seat reseravtions for the TGV? Some help please x 😮

Seat reservation for Interrail are not sold online by SNCF, only by phone.

 No need of Pass Cover Number.

 Press #85 for English, no booking fees, reservations are sent via e-mail
