Obviously demand is high this time of year but there seems to be zero availability from August 12 onwards (all the way into September and October as well) for the Nightjet from Vienna to Brussels. Any ideas?

There are works along the way (or on the Paris - Mannheim - Berlin cross-section...) and the times must be adapted. I can think of the Rhine mainline closure (10th-30th August) between Rastatt and Baden-Baden. The Paris part of the train will be rerouted via Saarbrücken for example.
The night train will most likely run but expect an earlier scheduled departure + a later arrival (scheduled or not, this train is frequently late).
