No trains from Athens to Patras?

Due to bad weather changes in the countries I have been planning to visit I have tried looking at alternate travel destinations I can visit.

i have tried looking for a way to get a cruise to Italy (Rome) for the 7th of February however whenever looking for trains from Athens to the Patras Port I only get options to go to a city halfway (Kiato) and then can not proceed further, it only shows options to come back to Athens.

any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong?

From Kiato you need to take a bus.

Have a look for the timetable here: https://www.hellenictrain.gr/en

Please don't use the rail planner app to plan.

For Greece, you'll find the timetables on the website of Greek railways:

https://www.hellenictrain.gr/en

Including the bus from Kiato to Patra, for which you need a reservation, free of charge at a ticket office.

HINt; the trip s such will cost much less as the average passday. Plus that the usual ferries from Ptr do go to EAST side of IT, not Roma. Bari, Brindisi, Ancona and some more. A look at a map should be evident. Except whenyou  booked a real cruise in a cruiseliner with many stops.
