I have bought a Eurail global pass and I am trying to make reservation between Zurich and Paris for 12th May 2023. The website is not allowing to reserve for any direct train. It is throwing error “One of the legs of your journey could not be booked” and I am trying book a direct high speed train between Zurich to Paris.
How to solve this ? My travel is in next 3 weeks.

Just to add : if you decide to go via Strasbourg here are the connections →
- leave Zurich at 07:10 or 07:34 (change in Basel)
- TGV Strasbourg - Paris-Est 10:44 - 12:31 20€
OR
- leave Zurich at 09:10 or 19:34 (change in Basel)
- TGV Strasbourg - Paris-Est 12:19 - 14:05 20€
And via Mulhouse :
- leave Zurich at 09:59(change in Basel)
- TGV Mulhouse - Paris Gare de Lyon 12:00 - 15:14 20€
OR
- leave Zurich at 10:59 (via Basel)
- TGV Mulhouse - Paris Gare de Lyon 12:56 - 15:40 20€
Direct Zurich - Paris TGVs cost 37€ per person (way too expensive !)
Let us know. Of course you could also take the direct TGV but it is more expensive and quite full already

I can get to the payment page with 3 people in 2nd class on the 7:34 departure.
Which departure time? Which class?
Above is the error that I am getting.

The Zürich - Paris (TGV Lyria) has extortionate reservation fees. Perfectly avoidable, with the alternatives also mentioned in the topic I linked above.
