I’m intending to travel between Vienna and Venice with OBB, using a 1st class Interrail pass. Is it possible to book business class with an interrail pass, or can I only book 1st class?
Additionally, is business class worth the extra money? It’s a 7 hour trip, so additional comfort would be nice, but idk if its worth the price
Yes it is possible to book Business but no idea if its worth it. (20€ extra on top of the 15€ for first class)
But honestly i would rather spend the extra 20€ on food in the restaurant car. 1 class is already pretty comfortable.
You can book the surcharge for that journey(13 + optional reservation or Business upgrade on the ÖBB website. (You just have to select Interrail/eurail pass under Discounts to purchase those)
