On the Forum I read about the ÖBB app as a good possibility to make reservations in Italian trains. Tomorrow we want to travel from Milano to Rom. Seat reservation in the öbb App is possible but I get told: Ticket bitte vorab ausdrucken. Auf A4 papier ausdrucken. My question is: what is the alternativ? If I go to the Station about one hour earlier can I get the reservation too in a Ticket office? How much time does that take?

You can show the reservation on your phone if someone wants to see it.
+6I’m pretty sure you can just show the reservation on your phone, if it’s even needed.
I did get my hotel in Turin to print it out before my train to Milan, but nobody asked to see it.
