We are taking a night train from Zurich to Amsterdam, the seat reservation is optional but we want to reserve it anyways. Though, when we try to, it’s says we need to send paper tickets by post, but we are moving a lot and cannot receive them. Do you know how we can just receive electronic tickets ?

You can buy this reservation from ÖBB for €3, and receive it as an e-ticket.

We tried on OBB’s website, though it indicates that the train is all booked up. But we have our interrail passes, does it mean we can still hope on the train ?
+9Which date, and time? Make sure you are selecting the IC and not the NJ at the same time.
Seat reservations are indeed optional in the IC.
