I have booked a 8 day pass and I have booked some reservations for a seat on some trains however I noticed that I need to also use Regional trains to get to where I need to go. Am I able to get on the regional trains without a ticket if I have bought a eurail pass?

Hello @Catferra

Regional trains are usually included in the pass and you can find the timetables in the Rail Planner app, but some exceptions are possible. If you don’t find them, give us the date of travel and the line.

“Am I able to get on the regional trains without a ticket if I have bought a eurail pass?”  Yes.

It’s important to remember that your pass *is* your ticket.  Technically, your pass with a travel day activated on the relevant day is your ticket, but the core point is the same - if you have a valid pass then you have a valid ticket.

[edit] . . . valid for a train covered by the pass, obv.  It’s not valid for a train that’s not covered by the pass.
