I have a 4-trip Interail pass, and when I try to book a seat for the Amsterdam–Berlin leg on 8th July 2026, and the Berlin–Praha leg on 10th July 2026, I get a message for every departure time stating that there is an error and the reservation cannot be made. Is it possible to board the train for those legs without a seat reservation?

Problems with seat reservation Amsterdam-Berlin and Berlin-Praha

Reservations are compulsory on the Amsterdam - Berlin train, and highly recommended on the one to Prague.
Interrail can be troublesome for making reservations. Try ÖBB or ČD, using the ‘Method 2’ from the advice here. They’ll be cheaper too.

Having said that, the few trains I’ve checked do look full. This is unlikely to be a massive problem on the Prague leg - you can board and probably find an unreserved seat. But on the Amsterdam-Berlin leg you may need to take the unreserved trains across the border.
