Now I have my pass is it possible to make reservations using British pounds? If not how does it work having a British bank account. Will I be charged extra? How does conversion work?

Reservations are normally in the currency of the country where the seller is located.
If you have a bank account or credit card in another currency, then conversion and associated costs are determined by your own bank or credit card company.
