Hello, i was going to reserve seats for my friend and I for 3rd august, from barcelona to lyon but it says sold out. However, i find it odd that it is sold out so quickly. Is it possible to head down the train station in Spain and reserve the seats etc still? I can head down to a train station in Bilbao but not Barcelona though, and do i need my friend’s passport etc? Do advise thanks!!

According to www.raileurope.com, this train still has availability. It’s the best place to book reservations for many trains anyway because they don’t charge any additional booking fees (Interrail/Eurail reservation service does).

Simply indicate that you have a pass. If that doesn’t work, change language to English.

You can, of course, book this train at any Spanish ticket office too.
