Does anyone have any insight into what routes will be offered this summer, and when booking might open?

I am trying to book for early July from Narvik (if it runs) or Boden to Stockholm. The website just shows track maintenance being planned, and no tickets yet. Although I note there are tickets for a few days later in the month.

Is there any certainty there will be trains, even if a different route / schedule etc?

No one knows. Tickets will be released as soon as SJ knows exactly if and when the track maintenance will be.

Thanks. I feared this may be the case! I used the train 2 years ago and it was similar - tickets went on sale just a few weeks before and then several trains were cancelled later.

I was hoping this summer (late June/early July) to use the Inlandsbanan up to Gallivare, and then train back down. Are there any other / reliable options available for something like this (other than taking Inlandsbanan all the way back!). Thanks!

Just wanted to follow up on this. I am still monitoring trains from Gallivare back to Stockholm for early July.

It seems some trains have now been added. There are night trains from Boden on some days. And connections with NorrTag to Umea for onward trains on some days.

Many days, including the day I want (July 1st) has nothing showing. Should I now assume this is final, or are they likely to add trains in later? I couldn't find any information on the operator sites.
