Hi. We have booked trains from Budapest to Istanbul on a Eurail pass on the 4th of July. Its says seat reservations are required but we unable book seats even though the cost of it appears, We cannot physically reserve seats

Without any details of the trains, we cannot help. I’lld suggest to split your journey in smaller parts (train per train).
